Team Alberta is gearing up for the 2015 Western Canada Summer games being hosting in Alberta by the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.  Team Alberta will be heading to Fort McMurray August 7-16.  For more information go to WCSG.

Strong Performance by Team Alberta at the 2015 Canada Winter Games!

Prince George, BC - Team Alberta was impressive at the 2015 Canada Winter Games in Prince George, earning 75 medals, finishing fourth overall.

“I want to congratulate all our young athletes, coaches and mission staff on their outstanding performance at the Canada Winter Games,” said Maureen Kubinec, Minister of Culture and Tourism, responsible for sport in Alberta. The success of our athletes is a culmination of their passion, fantastic coaches, outstanding facilities and amazing community support. I am so proud of Team Alberta’s accomplishments.”

Team Alberta captured 14 gold, 25 silver and 36 bronze medals at the Games and many of our athletes achieved personal bests.
